The webs are spun, the spiders are hanging out and the skeletons have made themselves very comfortable. Halloween has officially arrived at The Fox

Our team has been busy transforming the pub into a haunted hideaway and the pumpkins are about to join the party too. We’re kicking things off with a staff pumpkin carving competition, and you get to decide who’s crowned the winner. Keep an eye on our social feed to cast your vote and admire some seriously creative carving.

Friday 31 October: Kids Eat Free in Fancy Dress

Got little ghouls, witches or mini vampires? Bring them along on Friday 31 October. Kids in fancy dress eat free before 6 pm when an adult buys a main meal. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before trick or treating or to wind down after.

Half Term Adventures Nearby

If you’re looking to make a day of it, there’s plenty of Halloween and half term magic just a short trip from The Fox.

Blenheim Palace Halloween Trail – A glowing wonderland of spooky lights, lanterns and storytelling after dark.
Cotswold Farm Park Pumpkin Patch – Pick your pumpkins, meet the animals and find plenty of adorable photo spots.
Batsford Arboretum – Wander through golden trees and crunch through the leaves for a peaceful autumn afternoon.
Sudeley Castle – Follow a pumpkin trail through the gardens and uncover Tudor tales with a Halloween twist.

Start or finish your adventure with us. We’ll have a warm welcome, hearty food and maybe a friendly ghost or two waiting.

A Little Friendly Rivalry

Our sister pub, The Angel in Burford, is joining the fun with its own staff pumpkin carving competition. Pop over to see the entries and take part in the public vote. Kids in fancy dress eat free before 6pm on Friday 31 October there too when an adult buys a main meal.

Come and see the spooky sights, join in the fun and make The Fox your Halloween stop this half term. Book your table via the link in our bio or pop in and say boo.
