A Special Valentine’s Menu in the Cotswolds

Valentine’s Day at The Fox at Barrington is an invitation to slow down and enjoy thoughtful cooking, seasonal produce and a setting that feels quietly indulgent. This year, our Executive Head Chef Mike Burkert has created a collection of Valentine’s menu specials designed for relaxed evenings, good wine and memorable moments shared around the table.

Whether you are marking a special occasion or simply enjoying an exceptional meal together, our Valentine’s dishes celebrate flavour, comfort and classic technique in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Valentine’s Menu Specials

Maldon Rock Oysters
Served with shallot and sherry vinaigrette. Fresh, bright and elegant, these are a timeless way to begin the evening.

Coarse Cotswold Pork Terrine
With red onion chutney, watercress and toasted sourdough. A generous and comforting starter inspired by countryside cooking and local produce.

32oz Tomahawk Steak for Sharing
Served with peppercorn sauce, grilled tomatoes, little gem lettuce and thick cut chips. A bold centrepiece for the table and ideal for sharing on Valentine’s Day.

Pan-Fried Fillet of Seabass
With warm tartare sauce, potato gratin and tenderstem broccoli. Balanced, refined and full of flavour, offering a lighter yet luxurious main course.

Honeycomb Cheesecake
Served with coffee ice cream. A rich and indulgent finish, perfect for lingering over as the evening draws to a close.
